Maloja prende il nome dal famoso passo tra Svizzera e Italia nei Grigioni, dove è nata l'idea di questo coltello e dove si trova il cuore della nostra azienda, con il suo laboratorio ai piedi del passo.
Questo coltello è il coltello pieghevole in cui design e sapienza metallica si incontrano per creare soluzioni innovative e funzionali, come il sistema Liner-Lock, che garantisce un utilizzo sicuro e permette di aprire e chiudere la lama con una sola mano.
L'affidabilità e il design compatto fanno di Maloja non solo un utensile, ma un compagno fidato per tutte le attività all'aperto.

Hand sharpened, is made from Swedish steel Alleima® 19C27 and subjected to cryogenic heat treatment.
Liner lock system for secure opening and closing during use
Made with two ergonomic plates in walnut, olive, red stag or micarta.
Grip point for easy blade opening.
Swedish Steel Alleima® 19C27
The 19C27 is a martensitic stainless chromium steel with high carbon content (C 0.95%, Cr 13.5%). Due to its high carbon content, it has an excellent hardness of 60 (±1) HRC and cutting properties.
Cryogenic Heat Treatment
To improve its properties, the steel is subjected to cryogenic heat treatment.
The result is a perfect balance between hardness, resistance to wear and tear, ductility and a remarkable resistance to corrosion.
Handle
With a choice of 4 different handle finishes, Maloja has something to suit every taste.
Classic wood, available in walnut or olive, the genuine red stag, and the innovative Micarta material, which is a composite of layers of a substrate such as canvas, paper and carbon fibre, compressed and set in resin.

BregagliaKnife is a young company with years of passion, knowledge and experience. In fact, it was born from the third generation of a small Italian company that decided in 2015 to move to Switzerland and start a new chapter.
From a warehouse where only the final stages of production were carried out, today, after almost 10 years in business, it has a real production centre at the foot of the Maloja Pass, which links Switzerland and Italy and is a symbol of the company’s origins.
From the very beginning, the company’s aim has been to produce knives entirely made in Switzerland, designed with the know-how and passion that has been their heritage, without ever losing the desire to innovate in terms of technique, line and design.
Having always concentrated on the production of kitchen knives, passion and experimentation have led to an interest in the outdoor world and the creation of a collection of folding and fixed blade knives.
We are constantly working to improve and develop innovative solutions to meet today’s needs. Our dream is to grow and offer a quality handcrafted product that reflects our origins and is made with care and attention to detail.
