Swedish Steel Alleima® 19C27
The 19C27 is a martensitic stainless chromium steel with high carbon content (C 0.95%, Cr 13.5%). Its high carbon content gives it an excellent hardness of 60 (±1) HRC and cutting performance.
Cryogenic Heat Treatment
The steel is subjected to cryogenic heat treatment using nitrogen to improve its properties. The result is a perfect balance of hardness, toughness, ductility and corrosion resistance.
Handle
The handle is available in two attractive two materials: valuable walnut wood and genuine red stag.

The difference between a full tang and an half tang
Understanding the concept of the tang is crucial to choosing the perfect knife. The tang is the part of the blade that extends into the handle and contributes to the longevity, balance and overall effectiveness of the knife.
A full tang knife has a blade that extends from the tip to the handle. The handle is usually made from two pieces of wood or other material that are screwed or bolted together. The solid construction minimises the risk of blade reakage or handle separation and provides a durable and reliable tool. With an even distribution of blade and handle weight, full tang knives offer improved balance, durability and strength. Full tang knives have a wide range of applications, including outdoor adventure and survival scenarios.
In half tang knives, the tang does not extend the full length of the handle. Half tang knives are lightweight and easy to carry or use on a daily basis because they use less material. The handle is screwed or riveted to the tang to secure the blade and is made from a single piece of material using 3D modelling and advanced technology, making this type of knife extremely ergonomic and valuable.
